TV Story: SMOKING ADS

Here is a story I helped produce on the Ministry of Ontario’s  anti-smoking campaign geared towards youth.

Substituting the act of “smoking” with “farting”, this made for a humourous news piece that I felt really hit home with people my age. We were lucky to get Mark Nesbitt from the Ontario government to come and speak to us for a couple of minutes.

As journalism students, we rarely get our requests fulfilled from the Ontario government due to busyness or  the fact that we’re not considered “REAL JOURNALISTS.”

But in reality, we are.  And thankfully some people think so too.
